The opportunity for an ambitious and adept Content Manager to join a well-established organisation, working across an exciting and established global entity.



A core role in the Marketing & Content team, responsible for supporting the creation, growth and delivery of multiple content streams across our company.

Purpose of the Role:

This is an extremely exciting role for an experienced Content Specialist to join the company during a period of ambitious growth and expansion. The Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the Content Strategy across the campaign. You’ll be accountable for delivering vision and leadership across the Content team, setting direction, understanding strategic and business objectives as well as seeking out opportunities across all of our products. 

This individual will work closely with, the Creative Director and other senior stakeholders. They will play a key role in helping to drive both new and existing content products to our audience.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Creative Director, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and execution of the content strategy.
  • You will be accountable for the consistency within your own content design team, the direction set as well as the output of that team.
  • You will own how content engages with the audience using data analysis to ensure our approach is evidence-based, continually optimised, audience focussed and drives our experience decisions.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the internal team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative, topical and actionable content plans
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of campaigns, marketing plans, and partner initiatives.
  • Meticulously track and update activities in project management and collaboration tools (Clickup) to ensure deadlines are met and managed.
  • Help manage a freelance budget to outsource specialist work to a network of creatives as needed.
  • Own our one of voice and act as a brand guardian, helping The Esports Awards become a household name.
  • Take initiative and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and be part of a fast-paced, work environment.

Personal Specification

  • 2-5 years experience in leading and delivering content based on content strategy and creation through execution.
  • Content Creation & Curation – commissioning, sourcing, editing across formats including copywriting, scriptwriting, interviewing talent, visual assets and video content.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite primarily Premiere & After Effects.
  • Adept with the use of different cameras, audio and lighting equipment.
  • Preferably a self shooter.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness and understanding to take onboard more responsibilities where required
  •  Esports/Gaming/Entertainment/Sports/ Events background is a must.
