How It Works
Nominations
The Esports Awards Panel will compile a shortlist of finalists, based on the awards criteria provided by the Esports Awards. The Esports Awards Panel Counsel consisting of long-standing panel members will be presented this list for their approval prior to confirmation. The finalists will then be publicly announced.
Public Vote
The Esports Awards give fans a direct voice in deciding the winners. This voting process ensures that the results reflect the opinions and support of the global esports audience, not just industry experts, helping celebrate the people and moments that truly resonated with fans throughout the year.
Panel Vote
Our expert panel from across the industry will convene prior to the awards and decide their winners in each category.
Each panellist will vote independently on the secure Esports Awards portal ensuring that votes are made independently.
Winners
The winner is decided by the community vote combined with the panel votes. The community vote is worth 25%, and the panel counts for 75%.
This creates a balanced approach to establishing rightful winners, ensuring the community are considered whilst maintaining the weighting of the expert panel.
There are awards that are exceptions and are voted on entirely by either the panel or the public.
