Jason Lake started Complexity in 1998 before the team became professional in 2003 after Lake paid from his own pocket to form a team. In 2004 Lake removed himself from the team as a player and shifted into management.

Throughout the years this organization would go on to field rosters in almost every esports title there is and become one of the most influential organizations in the space.

Jason Lake still to this day stands as the CEO of Complexity as the organization still moves from strength to strength in esports.
