Position Overview: MEGA is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for the gaming industry, a keen understanding of social media trends, and the ability to create engaging and shareable content across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

• Develop compelling and visually appealing social media content that aligns with MEGA’s brands and values.
• Create engaging graphics, videos, and written content to promote the Esports Awards, the Mobies, and the Scholars.

2. Platform Management:

• Manage and update MEGA’s social media profiles, including but not limited to Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and algorithm changes to optimize content for each platform.
• Creating a calendar of social media posts across all platforms and brands in advance for approval by line manager.

3. Community Engagement:

• Foster meaningful interactions with the gaming community through comments, messages, and collaboration opportunities.
• Respond to inquiries and engage with followers to cultivate a positive and inclusive online environment.

4. Campaign Coordination:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with ongoing campaigns and initiatives.
• Execute social media strategies to promote events such as the Esports Awards, the Mobies, and the Scholars program.

5. Analytics and Reporting:

• Monitor social media analytics to assess content performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and suggest adjustments to enhance engagement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator, preferably within the gaming industry.
• Strong understanding of popular social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Passion for the gaming industry and a genuine interest in recognizing excellence within it.
• Ability to use social media tools and schedulers across multiple platforms.
• Using your own initiative to proactively and reactively create social media posts/content that is on trend away from the regular schedule of posts.
