Position Overview: MEGA seeks a creative and highly motivated junior to mid-level Social Media Executive with extensive knowledge in esports and gaming to join our team. If you’re a social media enthusiast with a deep understanding of the esports and gaming industry, we want to hear from you!

As our Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that resonate with our target audience. You will have the exciting opportunity to engage with our passionate gaming community, create compelling content, and contribute to our brands’ growth and online presence.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Create engaging and shareable content, including graphics, videos, GIFs, memes, and written posts, tailored to the esports and gaming audience.
• Platform Management: Manage and maintain our presence on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitch.
• Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant and positive online community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions with our audience.
• Campaign Development: Plan and execute social media campaigns and contests, ensuring they align with our brand’s objectives and events.
• Esports Coverage: Stay up-to-date with the latest esports tournaments, events, and gaming trends, and provide real-time coverage and insights to our audience.
• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, track KPIs, and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns and strategies. Use insights to refine future content and strategies.
• Partnership Collaborations: Collaborate with influencers, gaming personalities, and esports teams to expand our reach and engage with a wider audience.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media content aligns with our brand’s voice, values, and messaging guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Social Media Executive experience – either working within an agency or in-house with a brand (endemic or non-endemic).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive knowledge and passion for esports and gaming, including a deep understanding of popular games, gaming culture, and industry trends.
• Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts, preferably in the esports or gaming industry.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics, and scheduling platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative social media campaigns.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
